The Beginning...and the End
The Bible isn't just a collection of random stories—it's one unified narrative that spans from the beginning of creation to the end of all things. And remarkably, you have a place in this grand story.
In the Beginning: Creation
The story begins with God creating the heavens and the earth, and everything in them—including humanity, made in His own image.
"In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth."
— Genesis 1:1 (NIV)
God declared His creation "very good," and humanity lived in perfect relationship with Him.
The Fall: Sin Enters the World
Through Adam and Eve's disobedience, sin entered the world, breaking the perfect relationship between God and humanity. Death, suffering, and separation from God became the human experience.
The Promise: Redemption is Coming
Even in the midst of judgment, God made a promise—a Savior would come to crush the serpent's head and restore what was lost. The entire Old Testament points forward to this coming Redeemer.
The Fulfillment: Jesus Christ
In the fullness of time, God sent His Son, Jesus, to fulfill the promise. Through His perfect life, sacrificial death, and glorious resurrection, Jesus made a way for humanity to be reconciled to God.
"For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life."
— John 3:16 (NIV)
The Present: The Church Age
We now live in the time between Christ's first and second coming. The church is called to share the good news with the world and live as representatives of God's kingdom on earth.
The End: All Things Made New
The Bible ends with a glorious vision of the future—Jesus returning, evil being defeated once and for all, and God making all things new.
"He who was seated on the throne said, 'I am making everything new!'"
— Revelation 21:5 (NIV)
There will be no more death, mourning, crying, or pain. Those who have trusted in Jesus will live forever in God's presence.
Your Place in the Story
This isn't just ancient history or future prophecy—it's happening now, and you're invited to be part of it. God is writing a story of redemption, and He wants you to have a role in it.
